Studio apartment available in a professional and media/arts oriented building. Unfurnished. This space faces west for moderate sunlight. A double-paned glass window makes very efficient and affordable heating and cooling.
Many cafés, restaurants, organic food stores, and parks are all nearby and the building features spectacular rooftop views. The building is occasionally home to art shows, workshops, rehearsals, and film events, but overall we are a quiet environment for working artists and professionals. This space has 11 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and dedicated Verizon FiOS 150/150 Broadband Internet and wireless to each space. On three floors there are over 50 studios, ranging in size from 200-900 sq.ft. We are located two blocks from the Morgan Ave L train stop (15 min. to Union Square) and you would be sharing a secure card key controlled building with other verified residents.
There is laundry on site and 24/7 access to the 15,000 sq.ft. rooftop. The plumbing and electricity are all new, and utilities are billed based on each unit’s individual usage. Building management however does not permit music rehearsal, parties in your space, motorcycles stored in your apartment, or pet dogs of any kind.
Photos are of the actual space available – please note that the apartment is one open room with private bath. March 1 lease start date.
Three bedroom apartment available for February 1 lease start. The bedrooms are each at least 10′ x 10′, with walls insulated for sound and refinished floors. All three of the bedrooms have professionally built lofts for a full size bed or larger. This is a quiet apartment, looking out onto a Catholic Church flower garden. There are 12 ft. ceilings, a full bath, gas heat, and gas water heater. Brand new factory-style double-paned windows on the southern exposure make this space very well lit and airy.
Laundry machines are located in several locations of the building, as well as dry cleaning and laundromat service available around the corner on Bushwick Ave. The building is located 1 block from the Morgan L train station, and is a short walking distance from the Montrose L stop and Flushing J/M stop. The neighborhood is an old manufacturing district, with around 15 other renovated factory buildings in the surrounding area. There are tons of galleries, vintage shops, and performance spaces in the immediate vicinity.
There is a park down the street with basketball courts. Within just 2-4 blocks of the building, there are several bars & restaurants, coffee shops, a gym, and two 24-hour organic groceries. Photos below are of the actual space that is available. Please note that we do not allow dogs, parties, music rehearsal, or motorcycles in our spaces.
